Dua Lipa hit the pink carpet at the Los Angeles Barbie premiere in a stunning sheer dress, and it’s fair to say she left very little to the imagination.
The One Kiss singer, 27, bared all in a sparkling, floor-length chainmail dress for the star-studded event on Sunday.
She wore a pair of white briefs under the stunning garment but kept her chest largely uncovered, while accessorising with matching silver high heels.
Dua wore her long, dark hair down for the occasion and opted for silver earrings, rings, and a necklace to match the eye-catching outfit.
The star, who plays Mermaid Barbie in the eagerly-anticipated Greta Gerwig film, attended the event alongside castmates Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie who appear in the film as Ken and Barbie respectively.
Along with making a cameo appearance in the upcoming film about the Mattel icon, which comes to cinemas on July 21, Dua also contributed to Barbie’s official soundtrack.
The track, Dance The Night, is the lead single on the soundtrack and was officially released on May 25.
Producer Mark Ronson spoke at an exclusive album listening party in London about collaborating with the singer for the album.
‘I got this track together, I sent it and they choreographed a huge dance number to this thing and I sent it to Dua [Lipa] and I said this is this track we’re working on and I think you would be the best and if you want to just sing and write this song you know that would be the dream,’ he said.
‘So Dua had it and she instantly was into the beat and that’s how Dance The Night came to be and by that time I got on so well with Greta and understood her vision for the movie and we came up with this dream wishlist of all the people we would want – just insane people.’
The star-studded premiere saw the likes of director Greta Gerwig, musical artists Billie Eilish and Nicki Minaj, and co-stars including Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, and Simu Liu on the pink carpet – which naturally featured a mocked-up Barbie Dreamhouse, complete with slide.
Leading lady Margot looked stunning in a sequined black strapless gown with a tulle tutu-style hem at her ankles and matching full-length evening gloves.
Her outfit was yet another iconic recreation of a Barbie outfit from times gone by, this time paying homage to the 1960 ‘Solo in the Spotlight’ Barbie.
The ever-fabulous Ryan, who has been hyping up the concept of ‘Kenergy’ for months now, wore a fully pink ensemble, opting for a salmon-hued suit and pale pink shirt, which he accessorised with a necklace and pink pendant.
